when my hair is long its straight and when its short its wavy...whats up? does any one have some ideas on how to get my hair naturally straight w/o using a straightener?

You can always blow dry it straight. Clip sections off and use a round brush to straighten each section. This process will take longer than a straightner would and there might be a slight curl at the end (curled under or out). There are many straightners out there that are safer for your hair. I personally straighten my hair daily and my hairdresser always comments on how healthy my hair it. I think you just have to be careful and use a heat setting that works for your hair type.

When your hair is long it weighs more and therefore the weight will pull the waves out.

The only thing that will make it straight without a Straightener is a Japanese Straighter, or a Chemical Relaxer.

i have the same problem normally i dont care since its up in a ponytail or something like that but my stylist said that blowdrying it helps
