cut it. Shamposs that claim to FIX split ends, etc..really just have a lot of wax in them to basically glue your hair back together at the ends. Just cut off the most hair you can stand to lose and get it trimmed every 8 weeks until it's back to health.

once your hair is damaged...there is no "fixing" it...you can keep it from getting mored damage to it though...my suggestion sunsilk shampoo and conditioner in the pink bottle for processed/damaged hair. And also the sunsilk hair mask that goes with it...and then i would use a protectant against heat damage when you straighten your hair...vo5 spray on protectant in the red bottle works well and smells great...good luck

Cut off the dead ends first of all. . .try using a strengthening shampoo, or one like therasilk, that is supposed to prevent your hair from heat damage.

Hot oil treatment, a hair mask (you can get them at CVS or any pharmacy- its a strong conditioner that you leave in for like 10 minutes).

Going forward, you can get your hair just as straight using a hair dryer with the concentrator on it (you know, that funny looking piece that everyone throws away). It just takes a little longer, but keeps your hair healthier.

YES! I use a straightner every morning too, and i also color it. I use Joico "Reconstruct" shampoo and conditioner, and then twice a week use "Kpak" by Joico for a hair mask. Also, try not to wash your hair EVERY day. On the weekend try only washing it once. Your hair needs natural oils to stay healthy and not completely dried out. And make sure that you're getting a healthy trim every 4-6 weeks. That should do it :)
