You're asking the wrong person!

You might have to get a perm, its all based on your hair texture. Your hair holds curls and doesn't hold heat.

maybe you should try a different straightner. i have remmington wet 2 straight and i love it you dont have to blow dry your hair you can do it while it is wet. i would suggest getting it good luck!

ok before you blow dry use BioSilk Silk Strate Temporary Hair Straightener. then before you use your chi iron use CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray.

CHI 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray gives you superior heat protection for your hair.

With the power of ceramic in it, CHI 44 Iron Guard provides superior heat protection from the inside out against styling and finishing damages from the hottest heat styling tools. Hair will remain silky and shiny. Your styles will also last longer with use.

Directions:

Section your hair and spray evenly over dry hair. Start using your heat styling tool from roots to ends.

it is hard to beat the weather if you are in a humid climate for ex. Spray Redken spray startch on it before you flat iron it, this is a spray that reacts to heat kind of like a pre-hairspray of something, it works really well. But like I said, weather is hard to beat so maybe this time of year you may need to grasp the curls or wave and play them up

i had the same problem, but i recently bought a wet-to-dry straightner that works like a charm. i went to my hair dresser and asked for her recomendation and got the T3 wet-to-dry. i straighten it when its dry and it takes all the moisture out for the rest of the day. also you can try putting body lotion in your hair while its still wet to reduce the frizz. hope this helps?

I sometimes have these problems to. It may be the humidity, your hair texture, or frizzyness. A good idea would be to start w/ John Fredia "Straight Ahead" shampoo and conditioners, when your hair is damp, apply VO5 "Make it Straight Gel" This makes your hair really soft, protects it damage, and makes it less curly. When you hair is dry, put part of it up in a ponytail, while some of it's still hanging down, don't try to straighten alot at once either, when your done w/ the back, undo the ponytail and finish, when your done straightening, blast your hair w/ your blow dryer on a COOL setting, finish w/ an anti-frizz spray, and GOOD LUCK!

Like others said, get shampoo and conditioner that is supposed to make your hair straight, and use some straightening stuff before you blow dry. I have VERY frizzy, curly hair and if I don't blow dry first it will never stay straight. Then you can try a leave-in conditioner or anti-frizz or something before you hot-iron to sheild your hair from damage from the heat. It also might depend on your haircut, because a month or so ago I couldn't keep my hair straight for a whole day, and now, after my haircut, I can.

Here's my "routine":

1. Tresemme shampoo and conditioner.

2. Towel dry my hair.

3. Use Goldwell kerasilk anti-frizz serum (AMAZING. I totally recommend it to anyone with frizzy hair).

4. Blow dry my hair. I hold the drier at the top of my head and aim it down toward the ends of my hair.

5. Use Pureology leave-in conditioner (sometimes I skip.. doesn't really make a difference).

6. Seperate my hair into two sections, and straighten each.

7. Use Goldwell kerasilk stuff again.

8. Hairspray.

You can't just go over once, as well. I usually have to go over each section around 3 times.

Curly frizzy hair suuuuuucks. =)

EDIT: Wet-to-dry is not good for hair like mine, and I don't recommend them.
